2 years agoWe are pleased to announce improvements to the delivery of Attentive rewards! In order to ensure compliance with text message consent requirements, Talkable now delays sending Attentive rewards until we receive explicit consent from the user to receive text messages. This change is aimed at improving the overall user experience and ensuring that rewards are delivered to users who have provided consent to receive text messages.
With this update, if a user has not provided consent to receive text messages, Talkable will wait for up to 3 days to receive the consent. If consent is not provided within 3 days, the reward will not be sent. This is in line with the way Attentive and other text message senders operate, as they are unable to send text messages to users without their explicit consent.
By implementing this change, we aim to prevent rewards from being lost on the Attentive side and ensure that rewards are only sent to users who have explicitly consented to receive text messages. This will help to maintain compliance with text message regulations and provide a better experience for both users and our customers.
