1 month agoProblem: Previously, our existing setup for Purchase Syncing with Shopify did not capture customer phone numbers, limiting the data available for comprehensive customer insights and communication.
Solution: We have updated our Purchase Syncing process to systematically collect phone numbers associated with purchases. The collection prioritizes the following order for data retrieval:
- Extract from the “customer” field first.
- If unavailable, fallback to the shipping phone number.
- Lastly, use any other available phone number field in the webhook payload.
The phone_number
field is now actively tracked and has been incorporated into the Purchase Syncing criteria, enhancing our data accuracy and enabling more effective customer outreach.
