Optimizing Referral Engagement with New ‘Last Invited by’ Parameter

We are pleased to announce a crucial update to the Talkable platform that enhances the tracking of referral relationships right from their inception. Recognizing the need for more granular insights into referral dynamics, we have introduced the “Last Invited by” field in the Person Details section.

Problem Addressed:
Previously, it was challenging to track the origin of referral relationships until a Friend completed a purchase and a referral record was established. This limitation made it difficult to gauge the early engagement and effectiveness of referral campaigns.

Innovative Solution:
The “Last Invited by” field will now display the email address of the Advocate who last invited the Friend immediately after the invitation was sent. This allows for early insight into the referral process and better tracking of initial engagement.

  • The “Last Invited by” field captures the email of the most recent Advocate for each Friend unless the “sticky advocates” feature is enabled, which preserves the first Advocate’s information.
  • This field is displayed only when the Advocate’s email is known, ensuring compliance with our Email Gating policies for Advocates.

Accessibility and Integration:
This new parameter is accessible in various areas such as the People report, Customer Service Portal (CSP), Person Details, and can be utilized through Liquid variables and Custom Apps for enhanced tracking and reporting.

By introducing this feature, we empower our clients to monitor and engage with referral chains more effectively from the initial invitation, thus improving the strategic management of their referral programs.
